Message	older your car is the higher the registration and taxes on your car every year. So to avoid the higher fees, people sell their perfectly good cars with low miles and buy new ones. And since these motors are still good, they have to do something with them; so they export them to whatever country will buy them. That's why you will find many good motors and transmissions from JAPAN. They are not necessarily from a wrecked car; actually most of them are from good cars.
